Terms and Conditions

1. General Provisions
   1.1. These Terms and Conditions of Purchase and Sale (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) are a legally binding document that establishes the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Buyer and Seller when purchasing goods from the e-shop www.rutaruta.lt.
   1.2. The Seller reserves the right to modify, amend, or supplement these Terms at any time in accordance with legal requirements. The Buyer will be informed of such changes via the e-shop website. The Terms valid at the time of order placement shall apply to purchases made on the e-shop.
   1.3. The following individuals are eligible to purchase goods from the e-shop:
   1.3.1. Legal adults, i.e., individuals who are 18 years of age or older and whose legal capacity has not been restricted by court;
   1.3.2. Minors between 14 and 18 years of age, with parental or guardian consent, except in cases where they manage their own income;
   1.3.3. Legal entities;
   1.3.4. Authorized representatives of the aforementioned individuals.
   1.4. By confirming these Terms, the Seller guarantees that the Buyer is eligible to purchase goods from the e-shop as outlined in section 1.3.
   1.5. A contract between the Buyer and Seller is considered concluded from the moment the Buyer places an order by clicking the “Confirm Order” button after forming the shopping cart, providing the delivery address, and selecting the payment method. The Seller confirms the order via email.
   1.6. Each contract between the Buyer and Seller is stored in the e-shop system.

2. Personal Data Protection
   2.1. The Buyer can place orders on the e-shop in the following ways:
   2.1.1. By registering on the e-shop and providing the required information;
   2.1.2. Without registering on the e-shop.
   2.2. To process the order, the Buyer must provide the following personal data: name, surname, delivery address, phone number, and email address.
   2.3. By confirming these Terms, the Buyer agrees that their personal data provided under section 2.2 will be processed for the purpose of fulfilling the order, conducting business analysis, and for direct marketing purposes, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
   2.4. The Buyer agrees to receive notifications necessary for order fulfillment via the provided email or phone.
   2.5. The Buyer is responsible for keeping their login information confidential and not disclosing it to third parties.

3. Buyer’s Rights and Obligations
   3.1. The Buyer has the right to purchase goods from the e-shop in accordance with these Terms and the information provided on the e-shop.
   3.2. The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract with the e-shop by notifying the Seller in writing (via email) within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of delivery.
   3.3. The right to withdraw from the contract can only be exercised if the goods have not been damaged, used, or significantly altered, and retain their original appearance (including intact labels and protective packaging).
   3.4. The Buyer agrees to accept the ordered goods and pay the agreed price.
   3.5. The Buyer must immediately update any changes to the information provided during registration.
   3.6. The Buyer agrees to comply with these Terms and the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

4. Seller’s Rights and Obligations
   4.1. The Seller agrees to provide the Buyer with access to the services offered by the e-shop.
   4.2. The Seller reserves the right to restrict or suspend the Buyer’s access to the e-shop if the Buyer attempts to compromise the security or functionality of the e-shop.
   4.3. The Seller agrees to respect the Buyer’s privacy and process personal data in compliance with GDPR.
   4.4. The Seller agrees to deliver the goods to the address provided by the Buyer.

5. Ordering, Prices, Payment, and Delivery
   5.1. The e-shop is available for orders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
   5.2. The contract becomes valid once the Buyer confirms the order by clicking the “Confirm Order” button, and the Seller confirms the order by sending an email.
   5.3. Prices for goods are displayed in euros (EUR) and include VAT.
   5.4. The Buyer can pay for goods using the following payment methods:

   • Online banking;
   • Credit or debit cards (Visa, Mastercard);
   • Bank transfer.
     5.5. Delivery time is calculated from the day the payment is received.

6. Delivery of Goods
   6.1. The Buyer must provide an accurate delivery address when placing an order.
   6.2. The Buyer agrees to accept the goods personally or ensure that another authorized individual accepts the goods at the specified address.
   6.3. Goods are delivered by the Seller or an authorized courier service.
   6.4. Standard delivery times vary from 1 to 5 business days for goods in stock. Delivery times for items sourced from abroad may exceed 10 business days. Precise delivery times are indicated on each product page.
   6.5. The Seller is not responsible for delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond the Seller's control. If any delays occur, the Seller will contact the Buyer to agree on new delivery terms.

7. Product Quality and Warranty
   7.1. The product descriptions available on the e-shop include all necessary product details.
   7.2. All goods are covered by a two-year legal guarantee in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and EU consumer rights laws. This guarantee covers the repair, replacement, or refund of faulty goods.

8. Returns and Exchanges
   8.1. Goods purchased online can be returned within 14 (fourteen) days of delivery.
   8.2. When returning goods, the following conditions must be met:

   • The goods must be in their original, undamaged packaging;
   • The goods must not have been used or damaged by the Buyer;
   • The goods must retain their original appearance (including intact labels and protective packaging);
   • All accessories, gifts, and additional items provided with the goods must also be returned.
     8.3. If the above conditions are met, the Buyer must submit a return request via email to info@rutaruta.lt.
     8.4. The Seller will contact the Buyer within 2 business days to arrange the details of the return.
     8.5. Upon receiving and inspecting the returned goods, the Seller will refund the Buyer within 3 business days to the specified account.
     8.6. Faulty goods will be exchanged or refunded in accordance with Articles 6.363 and 6.364 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania.

9. Liability of the Buyer and Seller
   9.1. The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the personal data provided. The Seller is not liable for any consequences resulting from incorrect information provided by the Buyer.
   9.2. The Buyer is responsible for actions taken using the e-shop.
   9.3. The Seller is not liable for any delays in the delivery of goods if they are caused by the Buyer or by circumstances beyond the Seller’s control.
   9.4. The Seller is not responsible for any loss or damage caused by third-party websites linked from the e-shop.

10. Marketing and Information
    10.1. The Seller may initiate promotions at their discretion.
    10.2. The Seller reserves the right to amend or cancel promotions without prior notice.
    10.3. The Seller will send notifications to the Buyer’s provided contact details (email, phone number).
    10.4. The Buyer should direct any inquiries to the contact information provided in the "Contacts" section of the e-shop.

11. Final Provisions
    11.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and the European Union's consumer protection regulations.
    11.2. Any disputes arising from the execution of these Terms will be resolved through negotiation. If negotiations fail, disputes will be resolved in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
